Captain Chad Stewart

Holy City Sailing

Sail aboard the 37' Beneteau, the "Golden Handcuffs" with Captain Chad Stewart. Captain Chad grew up sailing the waters of Charleston, soloing his first sailboat at the age of 7 and racing solo at the age of 9. He raced sailboats extensively for many years and won or placed in a handful of National Championships in various classes. He won the Rockville Regatta in the Sea Island One Design class, a boat that only exists in Charleston. He has taught hundreds of children and adults to sail. He is USCG Master Licensed, insured and endorsed for sailing vessels.

The 50' sailboat "Dorothy"  is owned by Captain Walter Reid of Sweet Water Sailing Charters. Captain Reid has had 30 years of extensive sailing experience on blue water. He started out windsurfing and fell in love with the art of sailing as a young man.
