Captain Chad grew up sailing the waters of Charleston, soloing his first sailboat at the age of 7 and racing solo at the age of 9. He raced sailboats extensively for many years and won or placed in a handful of National Championships in various classes. He won the Rockville Regatta in the Sea Island One Design class, a boat that only exists in Charleston. He has taught hundreds of children and adults to sail. He is USCG Master Licensed, insured and endorsed for sailing vessels.
