Bohicket Marina & Market 5K/10K Run
April 21, 2012
Following a tremendous inaugural race last year, this year’s 2nd annual run was deemed another great success! Participants again wound through beautiful Seabrook Island on the 5K and 10K courses, then relaxed and enjoyed post-race refreshments on the patio at the marina, overlooking beautiful Bohicket Creek. The conditions even turned out to be beautiful on the morning of the run despite some rain in the days before and after the race. A big THANKS again to The Kiawah/Seabrook Exchange Club for organizing and sponsoring the event! The Exchange Club donates a portion of the proceeds from this great event to various local charities, so thanks to the runners and walkers for helping raise some money! Keep an eye out here for more information, and plan on joining us next year for another fun race!
Red Fish Invitational
Saturday, May 18th – 19th
The Inaugural Red Fish Invitational is a one-day catch & release competition for recreational anglers. There will be fly and spin divisions with a cash purse, product prizes and a big party to follow! The catch & release results will be determined by images submitted in lieu of a weigh-in. All rules and regulations will be presented at the captain’s party on Friday, May 18th prior to the competition, which includes a raffle and plenty to eat and drink. Saturday evening, prizes will be awarded, food and beverages served and there will be live music featuring Flatt City.

2012 Bohicket Billfish Invitational
June 6th – 9th, 2012
We’re gearing up for an even better 2012 Tournament and are expecting even larger crowds with our new June dates! Held at Bohicket Marina & Market
June 6th-9th, participants can battle it out offshore for big game fish like white and blue marlin, and meat fish like tuna and dolphin. Grand Prize is $10,000!

Kids Fishing tournament
Memorial Day through Labor Day
The Tournament is held every Wednesday from Memorial Day through Labor Day from 9am to 11am on the Marina Boardwalk. Children ages 5-13 are eligible to sign up the morning of the tournament, and the
$5 entry fee provides each child with a rod and bait. Prizes will be given to the children with the biggest fish! For any questions regarding next year’s tournament call our office at 843.768.1280.
